To set a routine field as mandatory, first identify the name of the field by clicking on it and then press F1

After verifying the name of the field, do as follows:
- Go to Configurator > Database > Dictionary > Database
- Click Data Dictionary, select the table of the field and click Edit

- Expand the table, click Fields and locate the one you want to edit
- Click on the field and then in Edit

- In the Use tab, check the box Mandatory and click Salve

- In the field listing screen, click Confirm

- In the table listing screen, click Update Database

- On the Database Update screen, click Next

- Wait for processing. At the end, a screen like the one below will be displayed, indicating Update completed successfully. Click Finish.
