Use this routine to follow up on Legal and Administrative Lawsuits. It is structured under file Legal Matters.
You can view all Legal Matter types in this register. When you add a lawsuit, the system automatically fills out field Legal Matter Type with the value (code) that indicates the matter type.
When you first access a database without content, the system automatically configures the registers of Involvement Type; Guarantee Types; Expense Types; Follow-up Types.
In Lawsuits Register, first access Legal Matters search. The register information of the lawsuit is divided in topics that you can access with the scroll bar.

Important
The System offers a lock for the items: Progresses, Follow-ups, Values, Guarantees, Expenses, Contr.Corr., Invoicing and History, accessible through option Other Actions, which forces the user to save the process before accessing these features.
Important
For legal matters of types:
- Contentious, Administrative or CADE displays tab Agreements which contains the data of agreements incurred in Legal Matter.
- Corporate displays tab Units which contains the data of the units involved in the corporation.
- Contracts and Bids displays tab Additives which contains the data of information added to Legal Matter.
Note
When you add a table through routine Searches-Configuration, see tab Agreement.
When you confirm the saving, tab Agreement becomes disabled for data manipulation, but tab Searches - Legal Matters is available with the fields of the Agreement.

This tab is displayed for legal matters of types Contentious, Criminal, Administrative, CADE, Contracts, Power of Attorney, Corporate, Official Notice, Bids or Trademarks and Patents because they contain data of the parties involved in the Legal Matter.
You can only fill out field CNPJ/CPF after filling out field Entity Type.
You can only fill out field Involvement Type after filling out field Side.
This area contains location data on the legal matter.
See below the particular fields to be filled out with information on the current court level of the lawsuit.
- Lawsuit Number.
- Status.
- Plaintiff.
- Defendant.
- Judiciary District.
- 2nd Level Location, available after filling out fields Court Level and Judiciary District.
- 3rd Level Location, available after filling out field 2nd Level Location.
- Class
- Action Type, available after filling out field Class.
Lawyer, available after filling out field Correspondent.
This tab is displayed for Legal Matters of type:
- Contentious.

With data incurred in Legal Matter.
