Overview of the Program

Purpose of the screen:

Optimize the process of registration, production and stock, enabling you to assemble dynamic structures for products as optional items.

Example:
To show the operation of this option, take a wooden chair as an example. It may be manufacture in four different colors: Black, Blue, Yellow and Red.
Despite the four possible colors, the manufactured product is only one: Chair, therefore, there will only be one product code finished, and the system updates the stock of this product irrespective of the color.
Then, if a production order to manufacture 20 red chairs is executed, the system updates the stock of CHAIRS that is the product finished, summing 20 units produced to the existing stock. No distinction of color or separated stocks.
That is why this resource is recommended to be used for sales on demand, as the end product will always have an equal code.
When entering a Production Order or a Sales Order, the user is requested to select the optionals registered for the product that is considered by the system.
If the user does not choose any optional, a standard optional, which must be registered in the Default Optional field in the Products Register, will be used.
The system is based on the optional items registered in this field to calculate the costs of replenishment, pricing etc.
If the user registers a group of optional items in a structure more than once, the group is displayed for selection only once and this choice is always applied to the group.
Enter the standard optional items as follows: Group of Optional Items + Optional Items + "/" (separator).

For the system to consider the manufacturing black chairs as a standard, enter code 001PRET/ in the registration of the product Chair, in the field Default Optional.
The Mandatory field indicates whether the selection of an optional item must be done. Thus, when the field is "no", on the screen of optional selections, choosing an item is not mandatory, enabling the process to proceed without the use of an optional item of a group.

Procedures

To register an optional group:

  1. An Optional Group, select an option Add. The System displays the inclusion screen.
  2. Fill out information according to the help instructions.
  3. Note the inclusion window is divided in two parts: header and list of items. In the header, see the fields Group of Optional Items, Description and Mandatory, below, other fields define the columns of the list of items. After indicating all fields of the first line of the list of items, press set down and other line is created to continue the registration of items of this group of optionals.
  4. At the end of the registration of all items of the group, check data, then confirm inclusion.
