Associating Movements to Projects

Some routines, such as Purchase Requests, Material Inflow and Outflow Documents, Bank Movement, among others, may be associated to projects developed in the Project Management module.

This association must be performed when an inflow document, for instance, is generated for a material inflow to meet the needs of a registered project. In this case, the inflow document may be created in the module of the project itself or in any other module of Microsiga Protheus®, as long as it is associated to the project. This is only possible if the MV_INTPMS parameter is configured properly.

there are two ways of making an association:

• By apportioning the amounts or values among various projects.
• By associating totals to a single project or task.

When apportioning is allowed, the option Association is available. Otherwise, the association must be performed through the Project Code and Task Code fields.

Automatic Association of Inflow Invoice to the Project

Associating an inflow invoice for which a purchase order has been issued can be done automatically. To do so, the MV_PMSIPC parameter must be filled out as shown below:

• Use automatic association of inflow invoice.
• Do not use automatic association of inflow invoice.
