Enables you to register the definitions to be applied to obtain the margin (cost plus). Cost-plus contract is a construction contract in which the provider is reimbursed for costs projected and approved by parties or defined by another way - plus percentage on such costs or fixed pay.

Example

A certain construction company signs a cost-plus contract to build a bridge. However, the company has outsourced the construction of this bridge at a cost of $ 10 millions. By transferring the cost to the client, the company applied a margin of 10% increasing the bridge cost to $ 11 millions. It is the cost to be amortized in the contract.

Procedures

Registering the management margin:


1.In Management Margin, fill out the fields:



•Code: Code concerning the calculation rule of Management Margin for fixed assets. The value of this field is unique.



•Revision: Active revision of the calculation rule to be used when fixed assets are added. This field is disabled since it is automatically filled out by the system with content started by 0001.



•Description: Description concerning the calculation rule of Management Margin for fixed assets.



•Margin Type: This field defines the type of management margin applied to fixed assets with the following options: Percentage and Fixed Value.



•Percentage: If the Margin Type field is filled out with Percentage, enter the percentage to be applied to the original value of Management Asset - Type 10 or Management Advance - Type 13 to obtain the management margin value of the fixed asset.



•Fixed Value: If the Margin Type field is filled out with Fixed Value, enter a fixed value to be used as Management Margin - Type 15.



•Locked: Indicates whether the calculation rule of management margin is available or locked for use.



2.Check data and confirm them.
