Speaking of user credentials...
In this section, you can parameterize whether the use of the personal password will be allowed for access by basic users in this company in Identity. See the complete documentation on Personal password (in Portuguese language) for more information.
You can also set whether basic users will be allowed to exchange their e-mail through the My Profile option (documentation in Portuguese language).
Enable the use of personal password
01.Click the Settings icon in the top-right corner and select Security.
02. Access theUser credentials feature.
03. Check the Enable personal password option to allow company users to set a personal password in Identity.

With this option enabled, the user's personal password will be registered on their first access to Identity. For users imported from Active Directory, Identity does not require personal password registration, but the user can do so through the My Profile option (documentation in Portuguese language).

Disable the use of personal password

02. Access theUser credentials feature.
03. Uncheck the Enable personal password option to allow company users to set a personal password in Identity.

With this option disabled, the Self-registration feature (documentation in Portuguese language), where users manually register with the company through a link on the login page, will be disabled. Users will be able to access Identity only with their Active Directory password, and the personal Launchpad will be disabled. However, for security reasons, even with this option disabled, administrators can always authenticate in context using their personal password. This rule also applies to the context switching feature.
