Movement Blocking
This routine validates movement blocking of Assets goods, through the blockage date entered.
Movement blocking ensures data consistency in Fixed Assets during closing periods, where any movement can change values and calculation. Hence by defining the blocking date, the System allows no asset movement with a date earlier than the one entered.
Procedures
To activate movement blocking control:
| 1. | In Mov. Blocking, enter the movement blocking date. |
| 2. | Check information and confirm it. |
In movements routines, when a movement or processing record is entered, if the movement/processing date is earlier than the one entered, a message is displayed and the movement is not made.
