A.F.I.
Input face value based Lower Spacing. The Face Value subtracted from the Lower Spacing displays the Lower Specification Limit (L.I.E.), printed in the Control Plan and controlled by the system.
This field cannot be filled out before completing the Face Value field.
Example:
0.50 (decimal places defined in the Face Value).
| • | The Lower Spacing calculation may contain values other than face value, performed as follows: |
Face Value = 6
A.F.I. = 2 -> Lower Limit = (6+2) = 8
A.F.S. = 4 -> Upper Limit = (6+4) = 10
| • | If there is a need for the Lower Limit to equal 4, the spacings must be entered as follows: |
Face Value = 6
A.F.I. = -2 -> Lower Limit = [6+(-2)] = 4
A.F.S. = 4 -> Upper Limit = (6+4) = 10
