  • Mandatory Validation of Entities - Paraguay (CTBA101 - SIGACTB)

 

Validations configured for accounting entities will be performed during the accounting entry, no matter if it is manual, automatic or of an integration.

Validation

The Chart of Accounts register has fields that indicate whether the account accepts entries with entities and whether such information is mandatory (Cost Center, Accounting Item and Value Class).

Register of Chart of Accounts, fields:

  • Accept Item (CT1_ACITEM) / Mandat. Item (CT1_ITOBRIG)
  • Accept CC (CT1_ACCUST) / Mandat. CC (CT1_CCOBRIG)
  • Accept CLVL (CT1_ACCLVL) / Mandat. CLVL (CT1_CLVLOBRIG)

In Cost Center, Accounting Item, and Value Class registers, there are fields to define such validations (Accept and Mandatory).

Fields of Cost Center register:

  • Accept Item (CTT_ACITEM) / Mandat. Item (CTT_ITOBRIG)
  • Accept CLVL (CTT_ACCLVL) / Mandat. CLVL (CTT_CLVLOBRIG)

Accounting Item Register, fields:

  • Accept CLVL (CTD_ACCLVL) / Mandat. CLVL (CTD_CLVLOBRIG)


Important:

If validation Accept? is defined as 2 - No, the field must not be filled. If validation Mandatory? is defined as 1 - Yes, the field cannot be filled.

Example:

Consider configuration of Cost Center 110101 as follows:

  1. If field Mandatory Accounting Item (CTT_ITOBRG) is configured as 1 - Yes and, in accounting entry, fields Debit Accounting Item (CT2_ITEMD) and Credit Accounting Item (CT2_ITEMC) are not filled, a warning message is displayed stating that Accounting Item entity is mandatory.
  2. If field Mandatory Value Class (CTT_CLOBRG) is configured as 1 - Yes and, in accounting entry, fields Debit Value Class (CT2_CLVLDB) and Credit Value Class (CT2_CLVLCR) are not filled, a warning message is displayed stating that Value Class identity is mandatory.
  3. If field Accept Item (CTT_ACITEM) is configured as 2 - No and, in accounting entry, fields Debit Accounting Item (CT2_ITEMD) and Credit Accounting Item (CT2_ITEMC) are not filled, a warning message is displayed stating that Accounting Item entity cannot be informed.
  4. If field Accept Value Class (CTT_ACCLVL) is configured as 2 - No and, in accounting entry, fields Debit Value Class (CT2_CLVLDB) and Credit Value Class (CT2_CLVLCR) are filled, a warning message is displayed stating that Value Class entity cannot be informed.
