Accounting Balances

This option is available in View.

It queries balance of the ledger account associated with the financial class. Previous balance, transactions of the period and current balance are displayed. For these pieces of information to be displayed, the class must be associated with a ledger account (Ledger Acc. field).

Procedures

Querying accounting balances:

1. In Classes, select a class and click View.

2. Click Accounting Balances, available in Related Features.

If the class is associated with a ledger account, the following data are displayed:

• • Previous balance: initial balance of the ledger account in the first day of the month.
  • Transaction in the period: value that represents the difference between current balance and previous balance of the ledger account.
  • Current balance: balance of ledger account in system's current date.

3. To end the query, click OK.
