  • MV_QIPOPEP - Additional information on the use of the parameter

To avoid overlapping information between tables  SG2 (Operation Procedure) and QQK (Product Specification), it is necessary to set which module is responsible for replication of Operation Procedures using parameter MV_QIPOPEP.

The options are:

MV_QIPOPEP = 1 - Production Planning and Control (PCPA124) is the principal.

MV_QIPOPEP = 2 - Process Inspection (QIPA010) is the principal.

The following are details about the behavior of this parameter for each available option (inclusion, change, duplication, and deletion):

1. Inclusion

1.1. Regarding the inclusion of Product Specification (QIPA010)

When you add a product specification, there is a premise that tables SG2 and QQK are synchronized. If a procedure is already registered for the product in routine PCPA124 - Operation Procedure, the following options are available:

    • MV_QIPOPEP=1, the procedure and the operations are automatically populated with the data obtained from routine PCPA124.
    • MV_QIPOPEP=2, the following message is displayed: "The procedures table of the Process Inspection module is out of date with respect to the Operations File, do you want to update it now?", where the user can choose:

Yes: Imports the procedure and operations from routine PCPA124.

No: Fills in the procedure and operations manually and, after saving, this information will be replicated to PCPA124.

(aviso) If no procedure is registered for the product in routine PCPA124, it is automatically registered when a product specification is added in QIP.

1.2. Regarding the inclusion of an Operation Procedure (PCPA124):

If the product is not yet specified in QIPA010, no information is replicated, regardless of the value of the MV_QIPOPEP parameter.

(aviso) If the product already has a specification, the operation procedure will already be registered in routine PCPA124.

2. Change

  • MV_QIPOPEP=1, when making changes using PCPA124 to a product that already has a specification in QIPA010, a new revision of this specification is created in QIPA010.

As of QIPA010 on March 20, 2023, this new revision is created with the status blocked so that the quality manager makes the appropriate adjustments, including the respective tests for the new procedures and/or changed operations. More details at: https://tdn.totvs.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=746497442

If changes are made from QIPA010, they are not replicated to PCPA124.

  • MV_QIPOPEP=2, when making changes using QIPA010, they are replicated to PCPA124. If changes are made from PCPA124, they are not replicated to QIPA010.

3. Duplication of Product Specification

When you duplicate a product specification in QIPA010 to create a specification for a new product, the same inclusion rule is applied. That is, if the target product is new and does not have a record in SG2, the record is created, regardless of the value of the MV_QIPOPEP parameter.

If the duplication is used to create a revision of a product that already has a procedure in PCPA124, the change rule will be considered as in the parameter MV_QIPOPEP.

4. Product Specification Deletion

When you delete a Specification in QIPA010, the MV_QIPOPEP is not validated. We have the parameter MV_QPDELG2 that defines if deleting the operation in QIPA010 will also delete it in PCPA124. To delete in PCPA124, the parameter MV_QPDELG2 must be set to T.
