Speaking of printing a controlled copy of a document...

This feature allows you to print copies of documents that are controlled, preventing that the content be copied or changed in an unauthorized manner. A log is stored for each controlled copy printed, allowing for proper traceability and control over printed items.

This feature can be used to print documents with the main file in the Microsoft Word (.doc, .docx), Microsoft Excel (.xls, .xlsx) and PDF (.pdf) formats.


Print a controlled copy of a document


A previously registered area is needed to perform this action.

01. Find and select documents that need to be printed in document browsing.

02. Click on the option Print controlled copy, found under More in the action bar on the top left of the window.

03. Enter the requested information in the window that opens.

Required information:

Protocol document
Document previously posted on the platform, which will contain information on controlled copy printing procedures. The use of a protocol document is not mandatory.

PDF print renderer
Library used to print PDF files in the user's computer. The standard library is PDFRenderer.

No. of Copies
Number of document copies to be printed. This field is only shown when the Enable applet of Parameters of the Control Panel is checked.

Watermark
Watermark that will be included in the printed copies.
Important: The selected watermark will be applied only to documents that do not have one. To see the watermark for each document, check the Selected documents section to print a controlled copy. If you wish to change the watermark, go to the document properties.

Target area(s)
Target area for the copies; i.e., the areas that requested to print a copy of the document.

04. Click on Print controlled copy.

The platform will generate a PDF file containing all selected documents and according to the above settings.
