Speaking of commenting on folder or document...

By using this feature, you can add comments to documents or folders that are posted in the document browsing structure, as well as delete the comments that were added or report the comments you think that have inappropriate, offensive content, etc.

Remember that there are several types of documents, such as an extension file supported by the platform, an article, an external document, and others. Forms are the only type of document for which comments cannot be added.


Comment on folder or document


01. After finding the folder or the document for which you wish to add a comment, click on the Comment icon, located in the social activities area to the right of its name.

02. In the window that opens, enter the desired comment in the table Comment on this document.

Tip!

You can mention other people in this comment! These users will receive a notification to view your comment.

03. Click on Comment to add the comment to the folder or document.


View comments on folder or document


01. Find the folder or document for which you wish to view the comments.

02. Click on the number displayed over the  Comment icon, located in the social actions area to the right of the folder or document name.

03. View all existing comments for the folder or document in the area Comments on document in the window that opens.


Delete comments from folder or document


This option is only displayed to the user who created the comment and for the admin user, because only they can delete a comment.


01. Find the folder or document from which you wish to delete a comment.

02. Click on the number displayed over the  Comment icon, located in the social actions area to the right of the folder or document name.

03. In the Comments window that opens over the document, click on Delete, found in the Functions column to the right of the comment to be removed.

04. In the message that opens, click on Confirm to delete the comment from the folder or document.

To cancel the deletion, click on Close in the message that opens.


Report comments for folder or document


01. Find the folder or document containing the comment you wish to report.

02. Click on the number displayed over the Comment icon, located in the social actions area to the right of the folder or document name.

03. In the Comments window that opens over the document, click on Report, found in the Functions column to the right of the comment to be reported.

04. In the Report description window, enter the reasons why you wish to report the comment.

05. Click on Report.

After the report, the comment will be presented in the Reports feature of the Control Panel, where it can be archived or revoked.
