Speaking of filtering content of the folder or the form... 

The filter feature allows users to select and list documents posted in a folder or form records based on specific filters, allowing users to easily find specific content in folders with several documents posted.
The filters may be set by filling out one or more fields; the more fields are filled out, the more refined the search result will be.


Filter content of folder or form


01. Find the folder or form that you wish to filter.

02. Click on the Filter option.

03. Define the data by which the contents of the folder or the form records should be filtered.

The requested data are:

Description
Description that should be considered when filtering the contents of the folder or form.

Subject
Subject to which the document belongs to and which should be considered when filtering the contents of the folder or form.

This feature is now shown when filtering content in the root (only when browsing a folder).

Document type
Document type that should be considered when filtering the contents of the folder or form. This field is not displayed when filtering content of the root folder, as documents cannot be posted directly to the root.

Author
Author of document that should be considered when filtering the contents of the folder or form.

Publisher
Publisher of document that should be considered when filtering the contents of the folder or form.

Document number
Code range of document that should be considered when filtering the contents of the folder or form.
 E.g.: 10500 to 20000. The result will display the documents with the code within the defined range. The result may be a document "X" with code 13569.

Modification date
Range of dates for modification of documents that should be considered when filtering the content of the folder or form.
 E.g.: 06/15/2013 to 08/30/2013. The result will display the documents with the update date within the specified range. It may result in a document "X" that has update date on 07/29/2013.

Customized metadata
Field developed about the platform that should be considered when filtering the contents of the folder or form. It is possible to select a customized field and fill out its value to filter a document. From metadata developed about the platform, you can select them and search for the documents that have such field and respective value. This field is not displayed when filtering content of the root folder, since only documents can have metadata developed about the platform and documents cannot be posted directly to the root.

04. Click on Filter.

05. View the documents resulting from the filter defined in the folder or form.
