The consolidation script generates records of balance in the consolidated company. However, registers are not generated automatically.
This option in menu Generate Register enables generation of registers of origin companies in the consolidated company.
Procedures
Generating registers:
1. In Consolidation Script maintenance window, select Generate Registers.
The window Importing Registers is displayed; it is divided into areas:
- Files to import: In this area, files that can be imported are displayed such as: Chart of Accounts, Cost Center, Accounting Item and Value Class.
- Companies to import: In this area, all registered companies/branches are displayed, whose data can be imported.
2. In Files to Import area, select registers to be imported by double-clicking the items you want.
3. Then, in Companies to Import area, select from which companies/branches these registers shall be imported.
Double-click the company/branch you want to select them.
4. Click OK to confirm generation of files.
5. The system enables Parameters which indicate whether to clear registers while importing them.
