Microsiga Protheus® has an electronic collection tool for Financials module, which enables interchange of standardized information pre-established by banks that use this system. This interchange is made through electronic files.
The bank transmission offers important advantages to the user: more reliability, speed in data processing and exclusion of manual controls, since the information interchange occurs via magnetic files.
CNAB (National Council for Bank Automation) establishes the rules to format files through specific guidelines.
To use the bank communication tool in Financials module, the administrator must first configure the remittance and return files for the bills in Configurator module, where:
CNAB Model 1
CNAB Receivable
CNAB Payable
CNAB Model 2
CNAB (National Council for Bank Automation) Model 2 is similar to CNAB Receivable/Payable. The main difference is that Model 2 allows a wide range of layouts. The number of Header, Details and Footer rows is unlimited and you can use as many of them as you need.
You must configure the layout according to the Standardization of the Interchange of Information between Banks and Companies, provided by the Banking Institution for the Dispatch or Return file, where:
