The Automatic Accounting Entry lock control prevents two or more users from attempting to edit, copy or delete the same record.
Important
Lock control is optional and used only in simple editing and deletion operations. It does not impact batch deletions; that is, the internal processes of the System.
For this control, use parameter MV_CT2SMLT (L):
- MV_CT2SMLT
Control of editing simultaneous entries: system default is F (false); that is, the System does not lock the entry.
Example with option T (true)
Semaphore control of changes is enabled. If simultaneous users try to change entries, a warning message is displayed.
Contextualization
When activated, the parameter is still controlled in basic routine operations, preventing the same user from attempting to take the same action in the same batch/record, thus being locked in the routine.
Options Editing and Deletion prevent the same record from being accessed in different browsers, such as the F12 of routine CTBA102, Display Mode set differently for each user.
If the Parameter is not used and different users access the same record in the same browser, the system displays the default help of the framework layer on record concurrence, which does not depend on parameter settings and is a standard feature:
A separate rule can also be used through PE CTBSMEXC, the responsibility and authorship falling on the customer that uses it.
