  • Generation of Bills by Breakdown (FINA040 - SIGAFIN)

This option allows generation of several bills, with differentiated due dates, based on a single addition. This resource must be used for income with fixed due dates (for example: rent collections).

For operational reasons, this option does not process multiple classes, since bills are generated automatically, without providing apportionment interface.


Tax Calculation in Bill Breakdown

To calculate taxes, the following items are required when there is bill breakdown:


Thus, tax bills, configured for withholding when bills receivable are issued, are generated according to the calculation rule of each tax.



Procedures

Adding a bill receivable with breakdown: 

  1. In Accounts Receivable, select Add.
  2. Fill out data according to field help instructions.
  3. Note the following fields:
    • Breakdown

This field must be filled with 1=Yes (generate breakdown) and all information requested must be entered for automatic generation of bills .

    • Payment Term

If this field is filled out, the amounts and maturities of bills generated by breakdown will be calculated based on the payment term selected.

    • Number of Installments

If the field Term is not filled out, the number of installments desired can be typed.

    • Value of the bill (Total or Installment) – This field provides two possibilities:

Total – The amount of the bill being added is considered as the total amount of the installments to be generated. While generating installments, the amount will be divided by the number of installments.

Installment – The amount of the bill being added will be considered as the amount of each installment. The number of installments generated is the number requested in the bill amount being added.

    • Maturity Period (in days)

Number of days between installments.

    • History

History of addition of bills by breakdown.

4. Check data and confirm them.

For accounting purposes, use the Standard Entry code 504 – Addition of Bills of Accounts Receivable through Breakdown.
