This routine manages checks received by the bank.

After writing off bills receivable through this routine, you can control check clearance and reconciliation, cancel check clearance, protest checks, view history of clearance and return as well as integration with cash flow data.

Important:

  • You can cancel the clearance of a check receivable by selecting Related Features in the Cancel option only using the Reason 12 - Definite Return.
  • In Related Features in the Cancel option by selecting the option 97 - Replaced Check, received checks used to pay suppliers are returned in third party checks when they are not damaged or returned by the bank. Such return is a payment term replacement, not cancelling the check and not issuing a note against the check client, since checks are returned to the portfolio.
  • To define the accounts payable and receivable model II process, you must set parameter MV_FINCTMD to content 2.
